喇沙 Laksa
別以為新加坡最美味的喇沙必定隱藏於橫街窄巷,其實不少新 加坡人都推介位於國際名牌酒店Raffles Hotel內的「Empire Café」,其叻沙的湯底充滿椰香味及螄蚶的鮮味,教人一試難忘。遊客更可以順道參觀這座有百多年歷史的古建築,一舉兩得。
If you think the real taste of Singaporean Laksa hides in little alley, 『Empire Café』 at Raffles Hotel is always a locals』 pick. The café serves appetizing soup made of coconut and cockles. A stroll around Raffles Hotel, a century-old architecture, is an additional pleasure.

胡椒蟹 White Pepper Crab
大部分香港人都喜歡食海鮮,所以在眾多新加坡美食之中,
最 令人嚮往的,首選胡椒蟹。大大隻的斯里蘭卡蟹以胡椒、蔥 及蒜炒香,肉質鮮甜又惹味。別以為在當地大排檔(即熟食 市場)食海鮮會較經濟實惠,其實跟酒樓及餐廳的價錢差不 多。想食得有氣氛一點,可以移玉步到新加坡的東海岸,這 裡有點像我們的西貢,同樣位於海邊並集中了多間海鮮飯店, 當中的「無招牌海鮮」,除了馳名的胡椒蟹,還供應辣椒 蟹、麥皮蝦、芝士龍蝦、金香琵琶蝦等多款特色的海鮮,價錢合 理,極受當地人及遊客歡迎。
A majority of Hong Kongers are seafood lovers. And of the diverse range of Singaporean cuisine, White Pepper Crab is the most mouthwatering one. 克拉碼頭 Clarke Quay
另一個遊客必到的地方,就是在新加坡河上游的克拉碼頭(Clarke Quay)。這裡集吃喝玩樂於一身,除了有供應各國美食的 餐廳外,還有不少酒吧及的士高,每逢星期五的晚上便變得 非常熱鬧。在芸芸食肆當中,最具特色的,便是這間提供中 醫診症及配藥服務的飯店「京都藥膳廳」。雖然很多菜式和 湯水都加入了保健的藥材,但一點苦澀味都沒有,還十分美味, 絕對值得試試。
Clarke Quay is another hot spot in Singapore.
